Use preservative-free Sterile Water for Injection when your compound is incompatible with benzyl alcohol, when assay readouts are sensitive to preservatives, or when single-dose handling is preferred. Choose bacteriostatic water when you need multi-draw use across a 28-day window.
Can I reuse the vial after first puncture?
No. This is a single-dose vial. Without a bacteriostatic preservative, microbial growth risk is too high to justify reuse. Discard remaining contents after the first draw.
